Ghaddar Ke Saaye Mein Daastan

A major series of events are being organized at the University of Delhi to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the 1857 Revolt. Apart from the fact that this was an event of great significance in the history of modern India, it is also very relevant that a great deal of the activity associated with this event was centred in places in and around what is today the University North Campus. The events are being organized by teachers and students of various Departments and Colleges of the University, with a view to generating a wider interest in the Revolt both within and beyond the confines of the University community.
A Dastan-goi performance is also a part of this extravaganza. Details are as given below:
Dastan Goi: Traditional Hindustani Oral Narrative by Mahmood Farooqui and Danish Husain Dec 18, 2007, 4 pm Venue: University Conference Centre
Hope to see you all on Dec 18.
Thanks and best regards.

Hi,

I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘dastangoi’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)

Cheers,
Ray
